Hoshimachi Suisei is a Japanese VTuber who debuted on March 22, 2018.
Sui-chan's Twitter account and YouTube channel were created on March 18, 2018 and, on the same day, she introduced herself on Twitter and announced that her first video will be released around late March.
Starting off with a decent amount of followers, she posted a Marshmallow link so that they could ask her questions in preparation for her first video and four days later, she released her introduction video.
One marshmallow in particular asked her if she plans to release her own Original songs in the future.. She answered that she hopes to someday be able to find a composer or people with whom she can work with in producing songs!
Interesting Fun Fact: Sui-chan also came up with a design and simple illustration for her own mascot, "Comet-chan"! Besides her mascot, she also designed and made her own character model with the use of the 3D modelling program Blender.
First Livestream!!
On May 10, Sui-chan hosted her first ever livestream! During this, she created a poll for all her viewers and followers to decide what her fanbase would officially be called. "ComeTomo", a cute mix of "comet" and "friends", came out on top and was then declared to be the official fanbase name. This would eventually be changed to "Hoshiyomis" but that's a story for a later time.

Before transitioning to streaming, she initially focused on making short clips/gameplay commentary videos similar to other YouTuber content.
After realizing the difficulty and limitations in this format, she switched to streaming instead, resulting in a more convenient set-up and better interaction with her viewers!
On June 21, Sui-chan debuted her new Summer-themed outfit! With artwork she made herself, she showcased her new design's cute and charming appeal that still had that certified cool factor we know her for!
Her old friend and fellowV-Tuber Lupinus Knightley tuned into the stream, pitching into the conversation which went well throughout the live and even on Twitter right after
A season of Sui-chan that most people aren't aware of?!
Retracing the signal of S:gnal
though, it was very short lived.
On July 1, Sui-chan joined the VTuber group "S:gnal", though this arrangement wasn't fated to last.
For reasons undisclosed, Sui-chan's manager announced on twitter that she will be graduating from the group, and will be taking a two-week break following the graduation, after which she is free to resume her activities as an independent / solo idol once more.
Though it was a short period that lasted only a month, it was still one of her first forays into VTuber groups.
On September 18, Sui-chan tweeted that she was finally going to be able to do a recording of her first original song! It certainly fired up the Cometomos and gave birth to the song we all know and love: "Comet"
On October 7th, Sui-chan declared the goal of reaching 5,000 subscribers for her YouTube channel, promising to publish a set of LINE stickers available for everyone once she reaches that number.
One of the first few goals she set up and achieved, she continued to move forth, head up high and her dreams of performing in front of a big audience alive in her heart.
On her long list of goals, one of the items Sui-chan wanted to do was to create and release her own original songs.
Months into her career, she was able to make good on this promise and released "comet"! This momentous occasion was made even more special when her friends Kuon Ran, Lupinus Knightley, and even *Luna, who helped her make the song, helped spread the word that her original was finally out!
With stars in her eyes, more than the cute highlights she already has, this marked one of the biggest days of her career.
Even with her many talents, there's still some things that Sui-chan would say are her weaknesses.
Some among them would be whistling and providing good examples, but possibly one of the most blaring would be her weakness towards horror games. And bugs. And crowds. But mainly horror games. Good thing she's got her friends to back her up!
Here comes Ran-chan to the rescue... maybe! While both Sui-chan and Ran-chan aren't that great at handling horror themselves, they decided to host their very first collaboration with a horror game called "Home Sweet Home"!
Though they've both known each other for a while during this time, it was only now that they were able to line-up their schedules to collaborate, but what a blast it was!
December 29 - With 2018 counting down its last few days, Sui-chan was poised to celebrate the new year with a healthy 3,700 subscribers on YouTube. She was definitely glad and thankful to have reached this number, and promised to work even harder to see it double in the next year.
But like the saying goes, it’s never over ‘til it’s over!
Same day, just a few hours later into the night - On the same day she had tweeted about her 3,700 subscribers, her first original song “comet” was featured in the annual #V Kohaku Uta Gassen 2018 livestream!
The short segment was enough of an introduction that sparked interest in our burgeoning new idol V-Tuber, because shortly after the stream, a wave of new subscribers came in, 1,181 to be exact, pushing her count up to 4,891 past midnight!
December 30 - With the sudden push through the night, Sui-chan woke up to one of the best year-end gifts.
With a victorious smile, she celebrated reaching 5,071 subscribers that morning and the day was just getting started! Thanks to the momentum started by the V Kohaku event, it gave her enough of a push to place 13th in the Daily Subscriber Growth for the V-Tuber category!
So many blessings for our comet idol, but this was just the start of her journey!
Suisei's message to all of her viewers for the beginning of the New Year 2019! Staritng off, greeting everyone in a new costume that Anemachi made for her! She was very proud to announce that she was able to reach her goal of 5,000 subscribers.
Sui-chan promises to do more streams often. They can be the usual karaoke, gaming or just openly chatting with everyone. She's confident and determined enough to say that she will be able to increase her follower count and find more success in her career.
3 days after her first video for the year, Sui-chan is delighted to wake up to a very special news - Her YouTube channel was finally given the perk of monetization!
It's been almost a year for her career as a VTuber and she's finally been able to have something that can help support her activities!
A really great start to a New Year!
The day is March 22, 2019. It's Hoshimachi Suisei's birthday and first anniversary! She comes out with an explosive Original
Song entitled:「天球、彗星は夜を跨いで ]
She received a lot of compliments saying that it's a very Emoi / Emotional type of song. While her older Cometomos mention too
that it's so different compared to her first original, 「Comet」Sui-chan then said it didn't have to be an Idol-like themed song, but one which expresses all of her feelings and worries.
Having a Rock kind of music genre but at the same time the song has a very heavy and very emotional feeling by how the lyrics were made
as well as Sui-chan's singing style in the song. It was a message, a cry for help that she was struggling with everything that she has been doing up until now. Delivering all her worry and sadness that has been revolving around her at that time.
Sui-chan said it herself before, that if things turned really bad for her... this would had been her last, and parting song.
Emotional feeling aside, it's a beautifully made song and sung very well by her that it gets the message across. Not even the language barrier
itself holds her back from sending a message with her true feelings.
AZKi features Hoshimachi Suisei during her radio program "Azuraji" which features various VTuber talents and their songs. AZKi compliments Sui-chan on her singing skill and how wonderful "Tenkyuu" went.
Even the viewers themselves on chat reacted highly positively of the song and started following her soon after the program.
19th of May, 2019 Sui-chan makes a really huge announcement a few months after her new song:. She had been accepted by Hololive to join AZKi, a virtual Diva on INNK. A music label that's under Hololive.
She's really proud to make this announcement, as this is the beginning of something new, a much larger and newer heights in her career. Joining a group with real management and members. Sui-chan had so many plans in mind for both the future and during the time she just joined.
On the very same day, she became a special surprise guest on AZKi's first concert: "The Shitest Start" that was held at Akihabara Entas.
AZKi introduced herself to all the attendees of the event. And shortly after announcing that she will be joining INNK, Sui-chan appeared on screen.
People caught by surprise because the event was intended to be a solo live.
Some of the event attendees already knew about her beforehand, and couldn't believe their eyes that Sui-chanis part of the event. The fans quickly changed their Red penlight colors that represented AZKi, to Sui-chan's bright blue color.
She was able to showcase her strong prowess in singing with her second original song "Tenkyuu" which left most of them awe struck hearing her performance.
May 21 Sui-chan is glad to see that her subscriber count reached the total of 7,777.
An auspicious number, Sui-chan was given the impression that there are far more greater things ahead of her career.
She also notes that it's not just because of the number, but the fact that each person became a Hoshiyomi because of all her hard work and efforts.
2 months had passed ever since Sui-chan tweeted about her subscriber count.
She went from the "auspicious mix" of the numbers 7,777 to 20,000 subscribers in such a short amount of time!
It was one of her goals for this year to reach this number. Sui-chan is very delighted that she has worked really hard to reach the goal she made 7 months ago.
Sui-chan, together with AZKI finally as official members of Hololive's music label called "INNK" held their 2nd live performance back at Akihabara Entas. This was also the same venue where AZKi had her very first live.
At the beginning of the concert, both Sui-chan and AZKi first introduced themselves. It was kind of clear already that AZKi was experienced enough to move and talk on stage. Sui-chan on the other hand, couldn't hide the fact that she was nervous. This was because it was a very fresh and new experience for her.
Sui-chan was the very first to perform, singing her very first original song 「comet]
Here, Sui-chan was able to show a much more dignified and a lot more confident stage prescence compared to her surprise appearance from the first live. The entire venue was dyed in Sui-chan's blue color theme thanks to the audience's penlights. She also sang another song "Inochi" right after Comet.
Sui-chan also sang "Tenkyuu" as part of their setlist, while her last song was a duet cover with AZKi on "Triangular" / [トライアングラー」
Sui-chan's version of Shiny Smily story is officially released by Hololive! A-chan is also a participant of the cover video doing the "Call and Response" parts of the song! - Sui-chan admits that she had a lot of difficulty in singing as the song had a very high key for her.
On November 4th, Sui chan tweets that she never knew the day would come.
She will be performing on the same stage as everyone else in Hololive on their first live.
"Non-Stop Story"!
On the faithful day of November 29, Sui-chan releases an official statement made by her saying that she is officially transferring from her current branch: INNK to the main VTuber group of Hololive!
Joining Sora, Matsuri, Fubuki and everyone else! She wholeheartedly thanks AZKi for the great time that they've had working together as performers in INNK. She wishes all the best for the both of them and hopes that they will continue to do their best.
On the same day of the announcement, Hololive's official Twitter account teases a Silhouette of Sui-chan's new Live2D model! It will also be revealed during her very first stream as an official Hololive member.
Starting off big! A very celebrative and commemorative moment of her transfer while having a new look. Sui-chan receives a new Live2D model designed by Teshima-sensei and modelling handled by Rariemon! What an exciting way to greet everyone on her transfer... making it a much more endearing moment.
On December 1, she finally debuts as an official member of Hololive's 0th Gen (Members: Sora, Miko, Roboco and now, Sui-chan herself) one thing that caught the attention of some fans is that Suisei, now being part of Gen 0 which Sora calls them as such. Is that Sui-chan uses a Live2D model while everyone else in the same generation are in their 3D models.
She did a very big reveal with her costume on stream. She did her usual hour-long karaoke and chat stream for her debut.
Sui-chan's new design has a really attractive and very elegant looking design. Having a lot of idol elements onto her clothing and accessories. She really looks like a queen in her new outfit! She wears a "Triple Crown" because of her beret and actually having two crowns at the very top.

The start of a new year! This time, her career prospects have turned out for the better now that she was a part of Hololive, and it was made all the more special with her new Live2D model.
To kick off the new year, she revealed yet another new costume with a Kimono theme! She looked very elegant and beautiful wearing a simple, yet eye-catching outfit with matching accessories that resemble that of her idol costume. It was all thanks to Teshima Nari-sensei who made it for her.
On top of the costume reveal, she started the year off strong passing 75,000 YouTube subscribers! She had a lot more plans in mind for the 2020 year, and would keep on doing her best.
January 6 - Only a few days after her first livestream of the year, Sui-chan passed yet another subscriber milestone! The Birthday and debut anniversary drew closer, and so did her goal of 100,000 subscribers.
The start of the year was already great, and the good news never stopped coming. There's a lot more to this year, and the ride didn't end here.
9th of January - Suisei and Houshou Marine did a collab to draw themselves together on stream. They changed it up a bit by swapping roles: Sui-chan draws Marine while Marine draws Sui-chan
January 15 - The song Sui-chan composed and that's been said to had been her final and parting song if she ever gave up, continued to grow even more in popularity. Her second original song, 「天球、彗星は夜を跨いで 」reached 300,000 views!!
This followed up on a very postitve note alongside all the positive changes that Sui-chan's gone through recently. Her next goal for the MV was to reach 1 million total views!!!
January 23 - Sui-chan passed the 90,000 subscriber mark! She was just 10,000 away from her goal that time...
January 24 - The day that everybody excitedly waited for. Hololive's first live concert, "Nonstop Story" was held.
Sui-chan dreamed of the chance to perform on a bigger stage, in front of a large audience. Last year, she was able to join Hololive through Inonaka Music with AZKi, and had performed at AZKi's first concert as a surprise guest.
On this day, she stood with her companions, no longer alone in the struggle to find her place in the world.
Truly, it was all a dream come true for Sui-chan. Not only that, she was finally able to perform on the same stage as the trailblazer of Hololive and somebody she idolized: Tokino Sora.
It was a truly heartfelt day for Sui-chan as a performer at Nonstop story. It was plain that she waited for this day with great excitement. She spared no effort with preparation and rehearsals and still found time to be active on Twitter.
This concert held an exceptionally important meaning as well; being a live performance at Toyosu Pit, this gave Sui the chance to perform in person, in front of an adoring audience. The chance to touch their heart with her hard work.
As with the other girls who performed, Sui-chan also received an idol outfit designed by ordan. The design may have been simple, but it emphasized just how cute Sui-chan was and really brought the impression that she was a genuine idol.
She wasn't wearing her usual beret in this outfit, but the ribbon on her side tail really accentuates the beauty of her hair.
January 26 - A song cover of Nayutan Seijin's "Alien Alien" was uploaded! Featuring Sui-chan, HoneyStrap's Sekishiro Mico, and Nijisanji's Izumo Kasumi!
Many people may not be aware of Sui-chan's participation in this cover since it didn't premiere on her channel. She did the video editing while her older sister was responsible for the illustrations.

On January 31st, Sui-chan reached two milestones: She celebrated reaching over 70,000 Bilibili followers by doing a karaoke stream and before that, she planned to do a Minecraft endurance stream till she reached 100,000 Subscribers.
However, during the karaoke stream she was doing over Bilibili, she surpassed both goals at the same time. She had already surpassed 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel way before her stream started.
She initially planned to just dig a big patch of land around the Hololive Minecraft server, but it turns out her original intentions for the endurance stream was ruined, but kind of in a good way.
February 3 - The first ever collab of Hoshi no Kanata was a Marshmallow stream! Amane Kanata and Sui-chan were finally able to spend time together.
At first, Kanata was a little bit hesitant to talk to Sui-chan for quite a bit. Both of them were really eager to understand and try to get along with each other in this stream. However, Kanata really respects Sui-chan a lot as she is her senpai. Sui-chan insisted that she should just drop the honorifics because Suisei wants to be called "Sui-chan" instead of having the suffix "-san" since it sounds a lot more cuter that way.
Also, because Sui-chan wants them to not worry too much about addressing each other formally or casually!
February 6 - Sui-chan reaches 110,000 subscribers! Her new goal is to reach 200,000!!
Double the amount from her last goal. She knows that even though it's past 100,000 just a few days after reaching her goal, she's still far from being done with what she wants to do!
A special sponsored event happened on February 16! The "VTuber Talking festival" was a valentines themed event where all fans of every Hololive member had a chance to attend.
It was a very rare opportunity for all fans to go to, as they were allowed to have a One-on-One conversation between them and the Hololive members themselves.
Sui-chan had her own short session with her fans as well, with quite a number of lucky individuals whom won their tickets in the lottery.
February 19 - A triple milestone celebration... in one day?! Suisei reaches 120,000 subscribers, 300,000 views on her Cover of "Awakening" 「覚醒」- Superfly and 210,000 views on her first original song, Comet!
A very important announcement was made on February 25! Sui-chan's 3D Live debut has been teased was scheduled to happen on the 1st of March!
Surely enough, everyone at that time got super excited seeing the news for her 3D Model debut AND her LIVE concert!
The announcement video that Sui-chan made still has a strong excitement and energy emanating from it even to this day!
She posted a countdown tweet until the very day of her 3D Debut
March 1st, Sui-chan's 3D Model Debut! It was such an explosive and memorable day for Suii-chan, she was finally able to move around with her own model!!
Not only that, she also was able to get her very own stage! Everyone and most importantly, Sui-chan herself was super happy to be able to sing and move around! Dance freely and do as much as she wanted on her own special stage!
She's come such a long way and she's been finally rewarded with something she never knew nor expected at the beginning of her career.
She may have had her on 3D model during their time on Hololive's first live: "Non-Stop Story" but that wasn't her exact completed model.
Sui-chan has worked so hard to be able to get here, and everyone was able to witness the greatness from all the hard work she's done.
Sui-chan has never been able to shine so much before throughout her entire career.
Her 3D live debut was an amazing experience for everybody, most especially for those who were able to witness everything live.
She trended in both Japan and International tweets in Twitter during her performance. BOTH reaching the #1 spot. All eyes were on her, more than just her stage's spotlights but all eyes and the entire spotlight was on her that evening.
It was all thanks to everyone who supported and believed in her. She still praised her friends highly for being such a supportive group for her, and even made the mic that she uses for her 3D.
Ran and Lupinus also had a stream to simultaneously watch it along with some other viewers. They got really emotional during the part where Sui-chan thanked them for being such good friends, and that they helped her all along the way throughout the start.
March 2 - Just under a day Sui-chan debuted her 3D model, she gained 10,000 subs!
She felt so surprised after what happened!
And as we all know... it didn't stop there. She kept growing rapidly in a month.
Ohayo Hololive, or Morning Hololive was an every weekday running program where a single Hololive member would be the host for an entire week.
The same day as her 3D model debut, on March 1, it was Roboco's last day as the host for Ohayo Hololive. The day after, March 2nd, Sui-chan successfully celebrated her 3D Model Debut! It was finally her turn to be the host for 1 week in Ohayo Hololive!
Sui-chan was the host for Ohayo Hololive from March 2nd until 8th of March 2020.
March 5, Sui-chan's channel and career growth have seen such a rapid increase recently!
Thanks to her 3D Debut, she was given a lot more attention after a very splendid performance on stage.
Sui-chan will continue to do her best, and the fact that she's rising in popularity, she'll strive much harder to bring out the best that she can be, to meet everyone's expectations.
March 19 - Sui-chan joins a special live event with a couple other Vtubers! SAKURA MUSIC LIVE!
A Sakura themed event where the performers sing and dance, do a variety of other things and of course, it was only a few days after Valentines day.
What could we possibly expect in this heart-filled month of February?!
It was even the place where Sui-chan did the legendary clip of doing a confession to someone she's admired!
Though, it was scripted because of a challenge. It's still a doubtful fact that you won't be captivated by Sui-chan's charm, right?

March 22, Sui-chan's Birthday! Just a day after her birthday 3D Live celebration, the official release of her third Original song, NEXT COLOR PLANET (often shortened to NCP) is finally here!
She first sang the song live during her Birthday concert the day before, and she was really excited to announce it to everyone that it was coming out!
She had a very busy schedule prior to working on the song itself. It was all thanks to Hololive's management for helping her out to work with Arte Refact.
She discussed about what happened in the past few months that all led up to her creating this wonderful new song. Quite frankly, Sui-chan really
asked for a lot of things based on her liking. And because of that, they were able to make NCP so great.
MARCH 29 - Hoshi no Kanata, Amane Kanata and Suisei's duo group name had an official cover of a song entitled "Angelfish" 「エンゼルフィッシュ」by Patirchev-P「 パトリチェフ」!!
Hoshi no Kanata was the group name that Sui-chan and Kanata came up with, which translates to "beyond the stars"
Sadly the song itself is still privated. We will make sure to update this portion as soon as it comes back!
As announced by Sui-chan at the end of her birthday stream, she was going to have her very own radio! Hololive Presents: Hoshimachi Suisei's MUSIC SPACE! The program first aired on the 5th of April, broadcasted on A&G Cultural Broadcasting Radio in Japan!
They initially broadcasted it both on YouTube and on A&G Radio and on their website.
But as of the broadcast on 27th of September 2020, they stopped broadcasting the program on YouTube and instead only aired it on their radio programs. However, they will still upload past archives a week after each program airs. This way, people can still catch up to the past broadcasts if they weren't able to see it!
April 6, Sui-chan reaches 200,000 subscribers! It has been 2 months past the last time she reached a very significant goal, and she made it in a short amount of time!
During her New Years' stream, it was only her wish for her to reach 200K before Summer time in Japan. But low and behold it wasn't even impossible after all!
She's so proud to show it off to those who doubted her to make "an impossible" goal. Sui-chan is so happy to show that dreams really do come true, and you just have to try and do your best for it.
Just a few weeks after, Sui-chan makes a big jump! On April 22, she reached 230,000 subscribers! She posts an illustration that she made over a year ago in a Yukata!
May 6 and Summer season's almost here!
Sui-chan reaches 250,000 subscribers! She adds in her illustration of her in a Suimsuit! (Swimsuit) She looks so pretty and pure. Summer is a great time to be in!
May 27 - Hoshi no Kanata, Amane Kanata and Sui-chan's cover of the song Angelfish surpasses 1 million views just in over 1 month from its official release!
May 19, Sui-chan celebrates being with Hololive for over a year
now! She's so glad that so much has happened over the amount of time she's been with them. It wasn't really a perfect experience, but she was able to achieve so many things that she's ever dreamed of herself.
There's a lot more for her to do, and she will continue on moving forward with everyone's support, and keep on making more accomplishments!
On top of that, a day before her anniversary Sui-chan reached 270,000 subscribers as well!
June 1 - Presenting an art piece as cheerful and beautiful as the 1st Gen members, Sui-chan joined in on their second anniversary celebration with a wonderful illustration that she made herself!
She also included the artwork she made from last year, showing just how far the celebrants have made it through the years.
With bonds of friendship this strong, it's no wonder they're all good friends no matter how much time or how far they've gotten.
June 2 - Sui-chan reaches 300,000 subscribers on YouTube! She believes that she's gotten this far and reached this big of an achievement because it's thanks to the support of everyone around her and those that helped her!
She's joyful to have been found by so many audiences. It will still take a while for her pledged goal of 500,000 subs for this year! 200,000 to go! She will continue running towards her dreams, but she will take a walk at times. But she'll never stop!
June 15 - Working on her dream of becoming an idol, she finally gets an opportunity to show her stuff on the big stage... multiple, even!
With events lined up literally week after week, Sui-chan prepared to face the grueling hours of practice needed to show her best to the world.
Worried about her Hoshiyomis, she gave a bit of a warning that there would be less streams from that point, with all the preparation that comes with such big shows. While there was a tinge of sadness that we wouldn't be able to see her as much, we braced for it, knowing that she was out there doing her best and making her dream come true.
June 17 - Music Space's Live Radio Special! A live "terrestrial" event that happened for the first time ever on Japan National Radio!
Featuring Hoshimachi Suisei, Mokota Mememe, and Hanabasami Kyo together with Sakanoue Yosuke's band: the "Spiral Spiders"! It was a special radio concert made free for everyone, broadcasted both on Youtube and on Bilibili!
The band had a really decent accoustic setup with a complete set of instruments, even including a grand piano!
A 2 Hour long event where Sui-chan became the MC for. She really did great as an MC and even helped out both Mememe and Kyo-chan who were both nervous.
It was also in this event where Sui-chan finally debuted the long awaited theme song for Music Space! Though, the song was not given a title yet until the 27th broadcast of the radio program on the 4th of October.
Her song was played on the timestamp 1:28:58 in the stream.
It's a free event, and the entire stream is still available for viewing!
June 30 - Shiranui Flare, Tokino Sora, Houshou Marine, Kanata and Sui-chan all had a collaboration announcement! All five of them were going to have their subunit formation!
The name, which was decided by Sora was Team ALICE. Each letter in ALICE represented the group's members which where: A in sorA, L in fLare, I in marIne, C for Kanata, and E for suisEi.
While it may seem very off due to Kanata having K and not a C in their subunit name, Kanata jokingly stated that she was willing to change her name from "Kanata" to "Canata".
Nearing the end of the stream, they also announced that Team ALICE had a new song cover coming out, which was later revealed to be released on July 7!
July 3 - Sui-chan shows up as part of the performers in an online Virtual concert event in Virtual Pop World! It was originally scheduled to happen much earlier this year, but due to the widespread of the Corona Virus... They had to postpone the event indefinitely.
This time, they continued on as an online event! They may not have had a present audience whom they can all hear and interact with, but that didn't stop everybody from giving everyone a good show!
Sui-chan performed with her Non-Stop Story outfit, and really did great on her performances! Also, lots and lots of cute moments!
The entire online event was a success! Everyone gracefully performed on stage, and gave it their all!
The atmosphere was really lively even for an online event like this! It wasn't as big as most events Sui-chan has gotten into before, but you could really tell that everyone was just enjoying themselves while performing.
There will be more events in the future, thanks to how successful it went for them!
July 7 - A few days after the announcement on the formation of Team ALICE, they teased that there was an upcoming song cover!
It was later revealed that their very first song cover was the song "Alice in N.Y." !
Sora mentioned that it was a song that matches the theme of their newly founded group! The beginning of a very talented sub-unit!
July 14 - Sui-chan, along with Asano Ruri made an official cover of the song "Alive Factor" from Idolm@ster: Million Live!
It was an exceptional cover from the both of them. Asano Ruri performed Chihaya Kisaragi's parts while Sui-chan sang Shizuka Mogami's portion.
A high paced, high energy song. And somehow compared to the original song itself, the duo did an amazing job with living up to the power and excitement that truly brings out the liveliness of Alive Factor!
July 19, next up on the list of the performances that Sui-chan had in her schedule, VILLS!!
Same as the previous event that she was in, VILLS was another event scheduled earlier this year, but got postponed. It's a massive gathering of numerous VTuber personalities in one event! There were different portions in the program, and Sui-chan is part of the singing and dancing portion!
It's miComet's first live performance! Sui-chan and Sakura Miko represented Hololive's talents on stage!
They may have had a short portion at the end, but they gave an explosive performance!
July 25 - it was another very big day for Sui-chan! She was be a very huge representative for the VTuber talents in the event itself! There's a huge mix of talents from China as well, so there are a wider range of audiences that might not be aware of her yet!
Another stepping stone for the Comet who dreams of wanting to perform in front of a big and wide audience.
It is also an event that everyone has looked forward to for weeks, since Sui-chan planned to debut with her 5th original song "Pieces" on her special performance.
The song means a lot to her, and even more to everyone that supports her. Sui-chan will continue singing until the end... and through her message she will continue singing as Hoshimachi Suisei. To everyone, including herself.
Pieces is a song where Sui-chan is freely able to express herself as a whole. She's been through so many ups and downs during her career and now she's in such a place that she's longed to be in. The lyrics, especially with the way how Sui-chan sang it on stage, flawlessly struck everyone hard in their hearts.
Sui-chan was so happy to be part of such an event that's as big as this! To think that she even got the special role of being the Vtuber representative is a lot more than just her participation alone.
It's all thanks to her hard work, along with the continued support of all Hoshiyomis that got Sui-chan this far on such a grand event.
"Pieces" is also her first ballad song. And it was a very touching, emotional and endearing song that sent Sui-chan's feelings to everyone that listened to the song.
August 5, another huge milestone was surpassed.
Sui-chan admits that everday she is reminded of what she wants to do and finds the joy in what she always plans in doing for herself.
She knows that there are lots of people watching and supporting her, and there will be more people who will find interest in her. That's why she will continue improving and doing a lot more!
Her astonishing goal of 500,000 Subscribers was just around the corner...
August 7 - Following up and at the very end of the continuous event streams that Sui-chan is part of, Bilibili World 2020!
It's another huge event which was held in China! Compared to the previous performances and events, Sui-chan was able to perform as herself on stage in front of a wider audience!
It was somehow noticeable that not everybody was familiar with Sui-chan and VTubers yet in general, but it seems that they all loved and enjoyed her performance! Sui-chan might have successfully converted some of them into Hoshiyomis.
August 14 - NHK airs a TV program on National Japanese TV called "NHK Virtual Cultural Festival" Featuring various talents! Sui-chan appeared as part of the program's guests together with Sora and Natsuiro Matsuri!
There were other noteworthy VTuber personalities such as Fuji Aoi, Kizuna Ai, Joe Rikiichi from Nijisanji and a few more!
The program ran for 45 minutes starting at 11:45PM until 12:30AM JST the following day.
Sui-chan, Sora, and Matsuri all joined together in performing on stage! They sang and danced to a song from Nogizaka46: "Synchronicity"
A song that fits the mood of the program, especially including idol Vtubers like themselves.
August 30 - Cosmic Flower XR was an event that took place in Tokyo Tower! The event consisted of special light effects, fireworks and most importantly, live music.
The guests from the previous Live Radio Concert also performed in this very event! Featuring Hoshimachi Suisei, Mokota Mememe and Hanabasami Kyo! Joined and accompanied by Sakanoue Yosuke and his band, the Spiral Spiders!
It also had two parts. The first 30 minutes were free for everyone to watch on Bilibili, YouTube and Niconico. While the remaining 1 hour session was paid content. Viewable on the same platforms, excluding YouTube.

September 7 - #KanaAquaMariSui, an unexpected off-collab happened! Marine and Aqua paid the Hololive House a visit! The girls all had a really fun night together doing karaoke!
Aqua was still quite the shy type, but of course they all urged her to open up a bit during the collab. The synergy in their voices resonated in their singing!
The day after the collab, Amane Kanata did a morning livestream just to talk and have a recap of how everything went down during and before the karaoke collab stream.
Sounded like there were a lot more stories to be told and... the disappearance of Sui-chan?!
There's so many stories to be told from their own perspectives, and the word they all had in common was that Sui-chan seemed to have been in a very hyper and uncontrollable state. She seemed to have a really good time during the off-collab.
Sui-chan does not usually celebrate about her Twitter follower count, but she was happy that her followers had grown this much!
September 13 - The longest endurance stream that Sui-chan has ever done herself!? Tetris 99 VIP lobby, she will not stop until she wins in a VIP lobby while inviting her own regular snipers.
The snipers themselves weren't your ordinary players, a number of them have been sniping her for quite a while now, and all have been practicing way harder than Sui-chan has thanks to her busy schedule.
Many had hoped Sui-chan will be able to win and end the stream within 2 hours.
But surprisingly enough, the lobby she played in were mostly populated by Hoshiyomis! Who also, all seemed to had practiced really hard!
In the end, sleepy and completely exhausted... Sui-chan finally won a match during her Tetris 99 VIP endurance challenge stream. The world's #1 Tetris player, Amemiya was kind enough to try and get into the same game. He successfully joined into the same lobby as her and KO'ed every single player left in the lobby.
The guidance of the god of tetris continued to be within the Comet's vicinity.
* The stream lasted for over 6 hours straight. Sui-chan only took a few breaks in between but kept on playing continuously.
September 17 - Sui-chan used to do sponsored streams for the mobile game, "Vanguard Zero" and now a collaboration between her and the people at Bushiroad added her into the game!
Sui-chan was a playable Grade 2 Interceptor card with 10,000 power! A number that's very powerful for an idol...
Her card also included her own unique and special ride animation, and voiceover!
It took everyone by surprise, as people were speculating that she might have a collaboration in other games, but it was Vanguard that she took part in!
The event ran from September 17 and ended on September 26.
After setting herself a goal that Sui-chan thought it would be harder to achieve... After months of streaming, hard work, performances and events and even collaborations. Sui-chan finally made it to a goal that she's wanted to reach not so easily. 500,000 Subscribers.
On September 27, Sui-chan scheduled a karaoke livestream where she would not stop singing until she reached her goal of 500,000 Subscribers!
A few months back, she's gained a lot of traction on her content and had a rapidly rising subscriber count. She then thought that the milestones that she set herself were easily obtained. She set it instead of 400,000, to now where she currently is.
Sui-chan celebrated her 500K achievement with an endurance karaoke stream where she will not stop singing until she reaches that number. And that she did, her singing while surpassing that goal made it a much more emotional moment.
Regardless of what the intention of the stream was, she kept on singing for an hour and had a very special announcement at the end of the stream!
For the third time, Sui-chan scheduled her third Live 3D Concert on YouTube for free on October 19th!!!
It's not a paid live event, but FREE!! She's announced that there will be "Special" guests joining her! As well as new live goods that she had up for sale!
On September 28, NEXT COLOR PLANET Surpassed the 3 million view count on YouTube!
It's a song that Sui-chan has put a lot of work, love, and effort into. A song that she considers as a treasure, a very valuable piece in her life.
October 4 - During the 27th broadcast of Music Space, it was the time when Sui-chan finally decided on what her radio program's theme song title would be!
The title was "NOW ON SPACE", which was also deemed to be her 4th original song! Sui-chan tried her best to incorporate the Music Space radio name into the title!
October 4 - Back in September 4, Sui-chan announced that she would be joining an annual running event in Japan called "Tokyo Idol Festival" where it also showed that Hololive Production will be a part of the VTuber guests in its Virtual Stage!
Tokino Sora appeared in all days of the event, Matsuri being in the first day, AZKi on the second while Sui-chan joins Sora on stage on the third and very last day of Tokyo Idol Fesitival 2020!
As always, and the same with other concerts... Sui-chan of course had to get up really early for her to be there at the event and do their rehearsals. However, because she is not really used to waking up earlier in the day, she had slight worries of not being able to perform well enough.
* However she was able to sing and dance well enough and without a hitch during the program.
During the opening segment, Sui-chan shows up as the last performer with Sora-chan right after Honeystrap. She started off with her second original song, Tenkyuu!
She also performed 2 other songs,. The one after Tenkyuu was Wistful Record 「未練レコード」, which was one of Sora's original songs as well. Additionally and by chance, it was also the 2nd anniversary for Wistful Record in which it was uploaded to YouTube!
At the very last portion of the song Sora appeared on stage to join Sui-chan. The last song for the opening segment of the program, was a duet with both Sora and Sui-chan on Kirameki Rider.
Tokyo Idol Festival's virtual stage came to a close. Sui-chan is thankful that she was given the chance to be a performer in Virtual TIF 2020!
She had a good time with the rest of the performers. And even happier that she was able to show the world what Vtubers are and what they could do! Another step closer to her dream of being able to make the VTuber scene a sub-culture rather than just another trend.
October 17 - Tenkyuu, Suisei Yoru wo Mataide reached 4 million views on YouTube! Sui-chan thought back then she never thought that it would never eventually make it this big... She was so glad that it continues to grow more in popularity till this day.
October 17 - Just 2 days left before her 3rd YouTube Live started, the title given to her 500,000 subscribers concert was "STARt IN THE SCREEEN" ! Including the themed poster for the event.
* Note - this was a really smart and creative idea for a title. the "T" in STARt" was a lowercase letter to put emphasis on the word "STAR", pointing out to Sui-chan herself. While "SCREEEN" was spelt with 3 "E"s to signify that this was meant to be her third YouTube Concert and performance.
October 18 - Just under a day before the live, Sui-chan scheduled a chill minecraft stream. Her main intention was to just have a nice chat with everyone before a very grand-scale event that she's worked hard enough for the past few weeks.
She was mostly only fishing in the Hololive Minecraft server, but she had a very nice and long chat that's all focused on the live.
And according to Sui-chan, the live goods were all designed by herself!
On October 19th, Sui-chan celebrated her milestone goal of reaching 500,000 Subscribers in YouTube! While many have expected that Sui-chan would have done a paid Solo live concert, which she said before that she wanted to do one, she instead decided on an open and FREE live event for anyone and everyone to watch her performance!
500,000 subscribers was a milestone so big that Sui-chan never thought it would have been possible to achieve so easily. And now, the moment had come for her to celebrate, and show that with every new event that she brings... It will always be a lot better than the last one.
With all the anticipation and excitement built up over the past few weeks and even after the Minecraft Zatsudan stream, the announcement was made very early in the morning. STARt IN THE SCREEN was scheduled to happen at 9 PMJST, October 19th.
Sui-chan has mentioned that a lot of preparations were made to further improve the quality and production of the entire show. She hopes that everyone will enjoy the performance and hopefully everyone who knew about her now will come to understand what Sui-chan is capable of.
The live started with a bang! Just as when the concert was about to begin, the intro made for the concert was VERY well done. A very professional, and yet somehow it seemed to have simplicity giving its astounding theme that resounded to what "STARt IN THE SCREEN" was about.
It was really not as expected that the lights, sounds, camera work and the event as a whole would be this different! Comparing STARt IN THE SCREEN to both her previous performances, her 3D model debut and her 3D Birthday Live celebrations, this gave an extreme difference of what Sui-chan has gone through to define what her concerts should turn out to be.
Moreover, the guests who joined her surprised many.
STARt IN THE SCREEEN was a complete success. Sui-chan had a magnificent show. For their level during that time, it could be said it was already a high class live that she did her best on organizing herself. The difference in quality of sound production, visuals and effects. More especially the guests she had this time were greater than what were done before. The long awaited request for a duet between Towa and Sui-chan came true.
Hoshi no Kanata, or what fans would call Sui-chan and Kanata togther, created a very outstanding official cover of Tsukiakari. An MV was scheduled to release just a few days after their performance during this concert. A trio with Hoshi no Kanata and Towa.
And to top it all off, a re-connection from where Sui-chan started over a year ago in joining INNK then Hololive... AZKi reunites with Sui-chan on stage to sing AZKi's 8th original song "Inochi" 「いのち」The same song that Sui-chan performed during INNK Exhibition. The second and previously last concert they both were on stage together. And then finally, a trio with Tokino Sora, AZKi and Suisei.
The end of the show had a very emotional piece added into Sui-chan's history and growth. Reconnecting with the people she was with. Back to her roots before all the success she's been able to achieve.
During the livestream of her concert, she was a little under 100,000 viewers. Peaked at #1 Trending in Twitter. Both in Japan AND International!
She was so happy that she was viewed by so many people live. And Sui-chan believes that so far, this has been the best live she's ever planned and performed in! She even leaves a promise that she continues to devote herself showing the concert stage 100 times BETTER than ever before.
October 21 - A collab stream was announced on Hololive's Official Twitter Account! For some reason the program was called "Holo Trials 2" It had a very intriguing mix of talents for this collab, and it raised questions as to what it could be about?!
They also had a very special announcement to make at the very end of the program.
During the 2nd Holo Trials stream, the said announcement was apparently Hololive's Second Fes! Beyond the Stage, supported by Bushiroad!
The announcement felt pretty sudden but in a very good way. Non-Stop Story just happened back in March earlier this year, and Hololive getting their second live concert within the same year as the first one was insane news for everybody! This time too, Hololive's fourth generation will be joining the cast!
On 24th of October, Sui-chan and Amane Kanata had another scheduled Hoshi no Kanata livestream in Minecraft! A few weeks prior to STARt in the screen's scheduled date Kanata had an illness she had to deal with. So it has really been a long time since the last time they've both done a collab together. A great way to welcome one of her best friends back after their concert!
At the end of the Minecraft stream, they had an announcement to make!
Sui-chan and Kanata scheduled Hoshi no Kanata day! A whole day where they can spend their time together, just the two of them to do a couple of things on stream!
Hoshi no Kanata was said to last for over 10 hours long on November 1st!
October 26 - Sui-chan had another big announcement: Inui Toko was going to have her own Solo live!
Even though it was supposedly a "Solo live" event for Toko herself, she insisted on having guest performers and that includes Sui-chan! The other guests for the event were: Lize Helesta, Ange Katrina, and Higuchi Kaede!
This took everyone completely by surprise, as some may have thought about her being in one of Toko's performances were very slim. Given that Toko and especially the 3 other girls were all from Nijisanji, a different company that like Hololive, a company that consisted of VTubers as well.
October 28 - The very first livestream of TokoMachi Radio! They had a google form for the viewers to send in their questions and messages to both Sui-chan and Toko for the radio segments.
And during the first livestream of TokoMachi radio, the two of them will be having an official cover of a song from their beloved game, Ensemble Stars entitled: "Koyoi Tsuki no Yakatta" 「今宵月の館にて」 by Valkyrie.
The first broadcast episode for TokoMachi Radio aired on Sui-chan's channel! The radio title itself was still pending as they weren't sure if it should be the official title for their program.
Knowing Sui-chan and Inui Toko as sole followers of the gacha game, Ensemble Stars... it was expected that it would eventually have or take a turn for an Ensemble Stars Corner Talk as a "special" segement for the radio.
* Suisei has been dubbed as an "Ensta Ambassador" by some of her fans. As she is always enthusiastic to talk and promote the game itself.
November 1 - After being previously announced, Hoshi no Kanata Day finally came! It was just the two of them, Suisei and Kanata.
They would be spending the entire day together streaming all sorts of activities. It was a day filled with fun for them after months of hard work and busy scheduling.
To start Hoshi no Kanata Day off, they played Minecraft together!
At this time, the Hololive ARK craze began to subside and their interest in Minecraft began to rekindle, so it was only natural that Suisei and Kanata would also join in on the fun. They didn't really have anything planned for this stream other than some casual chatting and some work on their... prison-like hotel?
Whatever they had in mind before, they ended up fooling around on the server and having their fair share of wholesome fun.
Third on the list in Hoshi no Kanata day: Ring Fit Adventure! A game that's gotten popularity due to how the game is played. Unlike your conventional video games, Ring fit requires the player to be "physically" moving in order to progress in the game.
Ring Fit requires a bit of physicality, at least depending on the difficulty you chose. It's a test of strength and stamina between an Idol and the so called "KanaGorilla" Kanatan!
(Amane Kanata has been jokingly called as a Gorilla due to her very high grip strength of 50KG for a female.)
Next, a showdown between Sui-chan and Kanata in a game of Getting Over it! Both Sui-chan and Kanata struggled to get accross all the obstacles in the game. Kanata herself has already cleared the entire game before. While Suisei... not exactly.
Rather than a game played by one person guided by another, they decided it would be more interesting to add in a little bet! The loser has to do what the winner bids them.
Turns out, they both came to the agreement has to buy a Beef Tongue meal that's worth 50,000 Yen!
Sui-chan and Kanata previously had a duet during Suisei's 500k live and it was already shown there that they would be having an official cover MV of Tsukiakari!!
It happened to premiere while halfway through of Hoshi no Kanata Day's schedule as well!
A bit more later in the evening, Hoshi no Kanata was nearing the end of their schedule. The two talented singers added in Hoshi no Kanata LIVE.
A Karaoke, duet singing stream, with lots of songs they've prepared for performance.
They treated this session to be in a more fun and relaxed state rather than the usually serious, and straight to the point singing sessions. Hoshi no Kanata Day was a time for the two of them and all the viewers to have fun after all!
Hoshi no Kanata LIVE stream lasted for 2 hours.
The last and final stream in their schedule to close out Hoshi no Kanata Day was a sleepy chat and mini "ASMR" stream, with just the two of them!
Sui-chan and Kanata, and even most of the viewers that tuned in had a very fun-filled day. They're all already but spent after having such a fulfilling day together. The stream's theme too was set to make even the viewers fall asleep.
Sleepymachi Suisei, called by some of her fans whenever she gets really sleepy is TREMENDOUSLY cute and might give you a cuteness overload while listening. And it might be a good idea to listen to them as you try and go to sleep!
On the 2nd of November, one of the last "secret announcements" that Sui-chan had kept after all this time was her performing at Nissin Power Station [REBOOT], a very special live event!
Sui-chan being one of the performers in Nissin Power Station [REBOOT]'s talents list, was joined by Shirakami Fubuki in a short program and guest introduction stream! Together they were the Vtuber talent representatives from Hololive!
Sui-chan's performance day was scheduled for the 22nd of November, 2020.
November 9 - With all the announcements and events mentioned before, Sui-chan was included in a game collab of "Among Us"!
But wait, it's not your ordinary collab! It also involved Hololive members from both Hololive Indonesia (Holo ID) and Hololive English! (Holo EN)
The previous collabs before this one had quite an interesting experience, how better could it possibly be now that they would need to deal with the language barrier?!
This was also the very first time where it had Mori Calliope, and Airani Iofifteen together with Sui-chan!

November 10 - After almost an entire year of hoping, wishing and asking for a new outfit by her fans, and maybe Sui-chan herself, Hololive made a huge announcement!
Hoshimachi Suisei had finally been given another outfit for her to wear! Shiranui Flare was also included in the announcement, and that she would be getting another costume as well!
Ever since Hololive provided her a newer and an updated Live 2D model for her, Sui-chan has only ever had two outfits. The other, being the New Year Yukata costume.
Her new outfit debut was scheduled to happen on the 12th of November.
November 12 - It was finally time for Sui-chan's new oufit debut! Compared to everyone else whom planned out their new outfit debuts, Sui-chan goes for something that she's always been good at: Singing!
She decided to do an Utawaku (Japanese term for Karaoke) stream while preparing herself to reveal the outfit she finally got!
Teshima-Nari, who is Sui-chan's character and design illustrator, of course helped Sui-chan design the outfit. But according to Sui-chan, it was mostly her tastes and preferences that she wanted to be added onto the entire design of her new outfit.
The costume that she now uses is a far, different style, taste and approach to what we normally Sui--chan in her first two outfits. A more different style and peculiar kind of color schemes to it.
Her new costume also came with a pair of glasses and a removable jacket! Both can either be worn and removed and vice versa, depending on what Sui-chan feels like. It also opens up a lot more artistic opportunity and ideas for those who wish to draw Sui-chan in her new outfit!!!
November 13 - The first ever stream Sui-chan did wearing her new outfit was a Tetris 99 stream! To add on top of the newly found theme, it added a huge confidence boost to her and in her games!
The challenge added onto her Tetris stream was that she would have to end it immediately if she placed anywhere lower than 15th place!
The power of glasses are very strong...
November 16 - Hololive and WACCA formed a collaboration! Sui-chan's original song: NEXT COLOR PLANET was to be included in the collab!
Their songs were all added in the Rhythm game called "WACCA"! And not only that, but Sui-chan will also be available as a Navigator, with her voice in the game! A profile banner / background will also available for a player to grind for.
November 16 - Sui-can set herself another challenge?! She had to play 6 Ball Puzzle from Asobi Taizen 51!
At first to her viewers, it seemed like planned to reach a very ambitious idea of 100 wins in one stream. But it turns out that Sui-chan just wanted to get some more practice in playing 6 ball puzzle once more! But not only that, she would be able to chat with her viewers while playing.
She successfully accomplished her goal to win 100 times, and even included in 10 games to play against her viewers as well. She did show sympathy for her views who worried about the stream possibly taking longer more than expected, but she did it with her correct prediction of 3 hours!
November 18 - Another "Among Us" game collaboration was organized! A game featuring a few of Hololive's recent Generation 5 members namely: Shihiro Botan and Omaru Polka!
The kicker here though is that both Nariki Ayame and Shihiro Botan had been said to posses the gamer blood within them. Meaning, it would make it a far more spicy, high tension and intense battle with the Suicopath herself.

November 19 - At first Sui-chan says that she wouldn't be able to stream once more due to her busy schedule for recording and practices. But then she changed her mind and decided to go ahead and do a Minecraft stream at 12 midnight JST!
It just so happened that it suddenly turned from an early morning and calming Minecraft stream to an unexpected longer stream, and collab!
It was in this stream where Miko, Oozora Subaru, and a lot more Hololive members came together and prepared for an upcoming event in few days time of this stream, the Hololive Sports Festival!
Mainly trying to walk around and trying to see what's in store and what the courses may be. And even had a fun, casual stroll around the Hololive Minecraft server.
November 21 - The Hololive Sports Festival was a massive collab that included almost all Hololive members! Planned and organized by Sakura Miko and Ookami Mio, and both being the MCs!
Hololive Indonesia Members also joined into the event with Tokina Sora. Forming the Guest team!
The four of them participated during the Basketball game and parkour race. They all had to depart after those two events.
There were 5 teams formed, 3 of which had 6 members. Sui-chan's team however had a total of 7. The 4 teams were named: White Teams A and B, Red teams A and B and then a 4 person team on the Guest team.
Sui-chan was part of White team A, which also had: Oozora Subaru, Minato Aqua, Uruha Rushia, Nekomata Okayu, Aki Rosenthal and Suisei Hoshimachi herself!
It definitely was a long event and stream for those who may have missed it live, but we assure you it will be well enough your time! Everyone did their best in accomplishing the challenges and it became an exciting, hyped and heated competition!
During the midnight Minecraft stream she did a few days before the event started, Sui-chan struggled to clear the parkour race course. And that she was really confused on how to clear the obstacles.
And to everyone's surprise, the few tries and a bit of practice led to her getting first place at the event itself!
In the very end though, they were all the real winners of this event. All of them participated in such a lively and wholesome event where they could all have fun, show what they could do and show to everyone how wonderful Hololive as a whole can be.
There were a few members who were not able to attend Hololive's Sports Festival. Everyone hopes that on the next festival they would do, each and every member will be there to join next time!
November 22 - the day and event Sui-chan has been preparing for, along with her 500,000 subscribers 3D Live celebration from just a few weeks back, NISSIN POWER STATION [REBOOT] started! The solo concert she had been working on every single day did not disappoint!
The sound, production and overall quality of the live and stage for Sui-chan were remarkably well made. And not only that, Sui-chan even went all out on her performance that day! A way more different and on a whole new level compared to her past lives.
Sui-chan was able to gracefully sing and dance and seemed like she really "owned" the entire stage.
She developed a much, much more stronger and higher level of stage presence. Combined with her improved technique and talent in singing!
After receiving so much feedback from the people who helped her during the time she was working hard on her 500K Subscriber Concert celebration... She applied all of what she's learned and even incorporated them during the NISSIN POWER STATION live!
All of the time she's spent off-stream, practice, and continuous days of scheduled work days, it all goes to show that Sui-chan continues to show off the amount of passion and love and even what she could really do and be the best that she can be!
November 25th, the second livestream of Tokomachi radio was streamed in Inui Toko's channel.
They have said too that with every broadcast they do, they will be alternating the stream venue with every consecutive episode!
At the end of the stream, many have been surprised that she was still awake at that time. And of course were really unaware she would decide to stream this early.
Because of that however, the early morning stream trended on Twitter! She apparently had a plan to go on a trip with her friends, Kuon Ran and Lupinus Knightley later in the day.
November 28 - NEXT COLOR PLANET surpassed the 4 million view count on YouTube!
Sui-chan says that it felt like NCP was quite a blessed song during that time, it was added into the arcade rhythm game, "WACCA" and then was even included into the JOYSOUND karaoke song list.
November 26 - Sui-chan did an early morning Guerilla stream! It was really unexpected, as she has never scheduled anything this early.
You could say it's something you can really expect from Comets, whom shine brighter in the starry night sky...
During the stream as well, Sui-chan openly shares that she has been practicing her singing a lot to the point where she's finally realized that her forte was more on the emotional "Emoi" 「エモイ」 type of songs, rather than the happier, energetic songs.
Sui-chan said that it felt like to her that even if she wanted to delivery her singing at a certain way, she could not really bring herself to perform like that. Whereas with emoi (or emotional) kind of songs, to her, it felt more like her emotions bring much more meaning and that makes the song a lot better to listen to.
December 3 - Sui-chan's third original song, NEXT COLOR PLANET won two awards in the VTuber Music Awards of 2020!
NCP placed #1 in the VTuber music category and won 3rd place in the VTuber MV (Music Video) Category!
She did not expect NCP to receive more recognition and more accomplishments at the near-end of the year. She was really grateful for all the people who helped produce the masterpiece that is NEXT COLOR PLANET.*
* NCP is an abbreviation for Next Color Planet.
December 7th - Sui-chan made an appearance on NHK TV once again! This time, it was a LIVE TV program showcasing the new game: Puyo Puyo Tetris 2.
Here, Sui-chan was able to face against the #1 Tetris player, the dubbed "God of Tetris" Amemiya!
Comparing to her experience in playing Tetris 99, She struggled to try and keep up with the god himself due to the game situated as a 1 versus 1 type of gameplay. Whereas in Tetris 99, you had other players to face against, and that both had different mechanics of handling how attacks work.
It was another fulfilling experience for Susiei. Not only she was able to show up on TV, but she was also given the opportunity to try and face off against Amemiya.
December 10 - Inui Toko's Solo live "Who I Am" began! Sui-chan got up really early for that very day because of the needed preparations before the concert started.
The concert itself had both online ticket sales and a lottery to be able to attend the physical venue. The concert's physical venue took place in KT Zepp Yokohama, Japan.
* The physical venue tickets only required people to apply for the lottery. If one were to win, they are given eligibility to purchase a physical attendance ticket.
As mentioned before, it was a different experience for everyone. Or more especially, for Suisei herself. She and Toko had been friends for over a year already, and it was quite the surprise for her to be included in the guest list for Inui Toko's very first Solo live.
Sui-chan hopes that it would not be the last time they would do this, and that the next time they would be given a chance to perform together... they would perform more than 2 songs together!
With the announcement of Toko's solo live and Sui-chan's involvement as a guest, our friends from the JP Hoshiyomi community discord, Suiseicord, started a Flower Stand project for the event! With help from various members, they set about to design and create a customized flower stand as a celebratory gift for the big day.
This was made even more special by opening the project to anyone who was willing to contribute not just from Suiseicord, but also the EN Hoshiyomi discord, the HSH server! All the love and support that flooded in culminated into a magnificent flower stand that delighted Sui-chan when she saw it.
Holo Fes 2, Beyond the Stage was a two-day event. Separated by two stages in which both days (or stages) had different performers. With the exception of Hololive Generation 4 members participating in both days for the opening program in both days.
Stage 1 or day 1 had the following performers: Tokino Sora, AZKi, Sakura Miko, Yozora Mel, Akai Haato, Minato Aqua, Yuzuki Choco, Murasaki Shion, Usada Pekora, Uruha Rushia and Houshou Marine
Stage 2 or day 2 of Beyond the Stage was the day when Sui-chan performed. The other performers for day 2 were: Shirakami Fubuki, Natsuiro Matsuri, Roboco, Aki Rosenthal, Oozora Subaru, Nakiri Ayame, Ookami Mio, Nekomata Okayu, Inugami Korone, Shiranui Flare and Shirogane Noel

Sui-chan performed gracefully on stage, and gave out a performance that was never before seen nor expected of her that she would turn out to be this better so soon. All the concerts, events and performances she previously was part of could not really be on par as to how she perform during that evening. Her performance during the NISSIN POWER STATION Reboot was just a "sneak peek" of what she has been able to work on herself.
Comparing the show she gave that evening to her performance in Beyond the Stage, it was at least twice, if not, THREE times the improvement and development that she has ever gotten.
Just a day before Beyond the Stage started, on December 20th Sui-chan's message was posted for everyone to see. Including a heart-melting and lovely wink and smile on a poster of her own! Her message translated in English:
"I'm going to put everything I've got into this!!
I'll show everyone how much I have grown since last time!
Let's spend this unforgettable time together!"
December 23 - Sui-chan did an after talk about her experiences during Hololive's Second Fes: Beyond the Stage's Stage 2 concert.
She looks back at how everything went during the final day of the event. Mostly discussing on the parts where she was in, her performance of NCP, the duet with Matsuri, the Trio with Flare and Matsuri on the song "Lamb" by GARNiDELiA.
Sui-chan has also received a lot of comments by a lot of fans that she's finally become a polished, shining gem. A shining stone gleaming with perfection and greatness... However, for Sui-chan, she says that she still wants to stay as a "rough diamond".
For her, a gem is a finished product with no more room for improvement, but Sui-chan wants to keep polishing herself forever. She humbly admits that she has still more room to grow.
December 23 - At the end of TokoMachi Radio's third livestream, which was streamed in Inui Toko's YouTube channel, both of them had an exciting announcement!
Just over a month ago, TokoMachi released their official Cover of the song "Koyoi Tsuki no Yakatta" 「今宵月の館にて」 by Valkyrie from Ensemble Stars.
This time, they released an official cover of another song coming from the game, Ensamble Stars: 「Holy Angel's Carol」 by fine!
December 24 - Raise a Suilen Radio R・I・O・T was celebrating its 100th broadcast episode! Sui-chan was invited as a special and surprise guest for their 100th radio broadcast!
Sui-chan was not included in this year's Christmas Voice pack sales. To make up for it, she planned to do a 4 hour karaoke Christmas Special for everyone!
Christmas may already be over, but the Christmas love and spirit still lives on with her Christmas Karaoke archive. Take the time to listen and appreciate her singing for 4 hours! Her voice did not falter within those 4 hours. An astounding display of skill by our Comet and true Idol Hoshimachi Suisei.
December 24 - Who could you ask more for a better Christmas day with? It's Suisei of course!
Sui-chan warms up everyone's Christmas day through her magnificent singing stream. She had been busy during the latter half of the year of 2020. This was a great Christmas present coming from her to her Hoshiyomis. Whom have wished that they would be able to spend more time with her.
She also hoped that she would reach a total of 650,000 subscribers, something she made as her Christmas wish.
She was not successful on reaching the total number of 650K subscribers, but she managed to go from over 638,000 to 647,000 subscribers during the 4 hour karaoke stream! This was still a massive feat, and a really great Christmas present for her.
