「星街すいせい」is a Japanese Vtuber who debuted on March 22, 2018. She was originally an independent up until July 1, 2018, where she joined a group called "S:gnal". A month later, her manager made an announcement that she would be graduating from the said group.
As time progressed during her career, she came to the realization that carrying on with her activities as a solo idol was becoming too difficult.
Sui-chan tried to do various things to gain more attention and even went to the extent of finding jobs, like making MVs for companies to fund her own activities.
Around 2019, she applied to join Hololive as part of their Vtuber talents. Sadly, her initial application was turned down. Knowing that she could no longer keep up being a solo, she mustered up the courage to reply to the same e-mail that informed her about her rejection, asking them if they would somehow give her a chance to prove herself to join Hololive.
In which she succeeded and, alongside AZKi, was assigned to be a part of INNK MUSIC, a music label under Hololive.
The name of Sui-chan's fanbase. Originally named as "Cometomo" 「こめとも」which was decided by a Twitter poll on May 5, 2018, during Suisei's first live stream on YouTube. It was then changed to name her fanbase as "Hoshiyomis" 「星詠み」meaning Stargazers in English. A clever name, seeing as they are the ones observing and watching our Comet Idol.

Suisei's first original song uploaded on November 22, 2018. A song filled with her hopes and dreams as an AYT (Aidoru Youtuber) and the promise of making it big.
Believe it or not, her potential in singing can already be observed through her earlier covers. Sung with a happy and melodic tune, it doesn't fail to make Hoshiyomis feel emotional...
Comet broke the 1 million Youtube view counts on 16th of July 2020. Surpassed the 2 million view count on December 5.
Suisei's second original song. This time the song is in a rock genre. She was struggling during her first year as a VTuber and even after a year, she still had a lot of trouble progressing and gathering attention on her 2nd year.
She had a total of 3,333 subscribers at the beginning of 2019.
Tenkyuu, Suisei wa Yoru wo Mataide 「天球、彗星は夜を跨いで 」expresses Sui-chan's feelings of pain, anxiety, and uncertainty due to what she has been going through at that time. She also stated that if she ever decided on quitting that time, Tenkyuu would have been her parting and final song.
Alongside their cover of Saga Jihen by Suisei with all 3rd Generation Hololive members. It is her most viewed video and Original song in her career. Currently has over 4 million views, reaching an exponential growth in view count over just a few months. On March 27, 2020, it reached 1 million views. On May 30th, it reached 2 million and soon followed by 3 million on August 9th. The same year, it reached 4 million on October 16.
Changing the pace and livening mood now, NCP is her third original song. Being a party-themed and celebratory type song... Sui was also able to have the chance to ask Hololive management to help her get to work with Arte Refact on her Original Song!
It has been her dream to be able to work with Arte Refact in producing a song together. During her 3D live birthday celebration, Sui-chan sang NCP as a surprise and as the last song for that event. She then announced after that the MV will be released the following day. You can clearly observe how happy and grateful Sui-chan is to be able to get this far and to finally, find the right place where she can be herself.

NEXT COLOR PLANET broke the 1 million view count milestone on June 6, 2020. Broke the 2 million view count milestone on August 5th. Passed 3 Million views on September 28. And 4 million on November 28.
Hoshimachi Suisei presents: MUSIC SPACE was a 30-minute music themed radio program that aired every Sunday at 5PM JST, hosted by Hoshimachi Suisei herself!
They called in talents, mainly Vtubers, who will be a guest for two sessions. Talked about a variety of topics or interests, and had a singing session during the broadcast!
The Last Episode of MUSIC SPACE was broadcasted on March 28, 2021 with the last guest being a world-class drummer, Senri Kawaguchi.

MUSIC SPACE has aired for 52 episodes in total, for 1 whole year. It has been a great ride for everybody, including Sakanoue Yosuke AKA Pan-nii. They have performed over 100 songs on the radio.
